Ashbrook Crossing
1600 Tibarron Parkway Southeast Smyrna, Georgia (Directions)
Built in 1985, Ashbrook Crossing is a 246-unit apartment complex located on the northwest corner of the intersection of South Cobb Drive and Interstate 285 in Cobb County, Georgia. The community offers a wide array of modern amenities, including a clubhouse, fitness center, tennis courts, playground, auto care center and picnic area. Ashbrook Crossing has one and two bedroom apartment homes ranging in size from 650 to 1,100 square feet.
The community is located in a high-growth residential area and benefits from its proximity to major employers such as the corporate headquarters of Home Depot. Traffic counts along Interstate 285 and South Cobb Drive are approximately 160,000 and 50,000 vehicles per day, respectively. Because of these strong demographics and high traffic patterns, Ashbrook Crossing has significant redevelopment potential for large-scale retail in the future.

Ashbrook Crossing consists of 25.18 acres on the northwest corner of the intersection of South Cobb Drive and Interstate 285 in Cobb County, Georgia. Bounded by Church Street to the north, the site is approximately two miles south of Branch’s West Village mixed-use project located at the next intersection of Interstate 285. Today, the site includes a 246-unit multifamily community built in 1986, a retail gas station with frontage on South Cobb Drive at a main signaled intersection, and unimproved land. In 2007, the entire assemblage was rezoned from RM-12 to CRC (Community Retail Commercial District) to allow for a large-scale retail redevelopment project in the future.
