Papermill Plaza is located at the intersection of Papermill Road and Kingston Pike in central Knoxville, Tennessee. Kingston Pike is a major east-west artery connecting the upscale suburban residential areas of western Knoxville with the in-town residential and office districts surrounding the University of Tennessee. Papermill Road is an important secondary street which begins at Kingston Pike and connects to Interstate 40 approximately one-half mile away from Papermill Plaza. Due to its prime retail location, the property was purchased as a strategic land hold and was redeveloped as a 74,516 square foot shopping center anchored by Whole Foods Market, REI and Ulta Beauty. The redevelopment was completed in the Spring of 2015.
